SLI GTX N750TI TF 2GD5/OC or..?

Volework

Hey everyone! Volework here.

So, I'm in a bit of a bind. I currently own a - what I would say, IMO - a mid-entry gaming PC.
i7-2600 3.4GHz , MSI GTX N750TI TF 2GD5/OC , DDR3-1333MHz

Well, I recently got a job making $8/Hr (USD), and I'd like to start upgrading. I know my way around the PC world as well as using PCPartPicker, but I was wondering...
Should I got for a second N750TI to go SLI, or should I upgrade to just a singular GPU?
I'm trying to keep everything under $500. My father has worked on computers for just about 22 years, and he tells me I could just re-use the 750Ti. Thoughts?

Thanks!

You can't SLI 750Tis without using sketchy hacks.

Sell it and buy a fresh new 1060 6GB or RX 480/580

idk

Bit of an AMD fan I suppose. I don't bias my replies to anything however, I just prefer AMD and their products. Buy whatever the H*CK you want.

That card has no SLI.

Even if it did it would be a horrible thing to do.

Sell it and buy a better GPU.

I'd just upgrade to a singular more powerful card, and if you can live with your 750ti save for a while.
