Either this for the extra gpu power https://lpc-digital.com/product/sager-np7850-clevo-n850hp6/?ex=1

or this for the better build quality and larger battery http://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/productdetails/inspiron-15-7567-laptop/fncwf512s

To be completely honest, I'd go with the Clevo for better build quality.  Sure, they aren't usually full aluminum chassis', but they're constructed damn well.  Had mine for 2 years, and there isn't a scratch.

The lower end clevos dont have the same quality as the higher end ones.

That's definitely true, but I'd still take it over an Inspiron.  If you want build quality, get a Dell Precision machine.

Clevo is a well known brand if you're an enthusiast because they provide high-quality machines that have good customization.

Ask @Pendragon and @D2ultima whenever they are on about the clevo, I consider them to be the 2 most knowledgeable people on laptops here and they should give you a good idea of laptops in that price point.

ugh, this forum is totally broken for me now. So much freezing.

If the person is going to grab the N850HP6 I'd suggest using a SSD-only set up, if possible. The 5400RPM HDDs aren't anything you really want unless it's PURE raw data storage going on them.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.

MSI doesn't make bad laptops, some of them are just mediocre. Asus has bad cooling and power designs that don't use the hardware to the fullest.
