What Fans Are Pushy, Not Sucky?

I need fans for my radiators that are quiet, cost (per fan) $10 USD or less and preferably glows blue or red (doesn't have to). What is out there that can satisfy my needs?

What rad are you using?

@iamdarkyoshi? I have no idea, they are less than 35mm thick and not particularly dense. I have a 240mm and 360mm rad.

Any idea what fpi they're using?

Do you know of any pictures I can reference from? Doing some quick googling did not help me.

FPI is Fins Per Inch. You could just count how many there are.

Good point, about 28 if I did that right.

I had 8 by 3.5, if we want to round down then FPI=24, which sounds a bit more reasonable.

28 fpi would be high.

Here's an example:

It seems like you're just using 8 fpi.

Heh I put magmas on there already

Yea but they don't glow. I will probably replace them with something glowy and use the magmas on my next build.

Just go with some yate loon LED fans

I think I will go with the V120B, about $8 per fan and the specs page for them explicitly says that they are static pressure optimized.

Is the V120B particularly static pressure rated? Just looking at the fins it is a cross between both static pressure optimized and air flow optimized.

They're less static pressure oriented than most of the fans listed but should be enough. Keep in mind that they aren't stellar performers but are alright and look pretty nice in person.

The fans have a general purpose design for use in basically any application in a PC.  There are fans with higher static pressure and speed more suitable for radiators (like Nidec's "Gentle Typhoon", although those are quite a bit more expensive), but the V120B does offer enough pressure to work for this.  Since you have 240mm and 360mm radiators, filling them up with these fans should give you good performance and quiet operation.
