Summer temperatures

I have a simple question. I own an i5-7600k and Zalman CNPS10X Optima 2011. It's not the best cooler but it can keep temperatures under 65 in winter. :D Now when I'm playing it jumps around 72-73C cause of summer ofc. So i removed the side panel and now it jumps from 62-63C. Here is my question, can i keep it like that? I mean can i keep side panel off all the time, i can put it back when pc is off to keep dust off.

You can. It will just collect dust faster. Hopefully you don't have a pet that roams around the house

Yeah, about that. :D I doesn't matter in my case i think I'm cleaning my pc regulary so it should be fine.
