wtf is going on with rx 580s????

I was going to buy one the past weekend but I had to work and today I started checking newegg, amazon, neweggbussines and suddenly they're all out of stock, and the ones with stock have a price over $400 usd, just wtf is happening?? could someone explain it to me??? guess now  1060 are the best you can get for the amount of money a rx used to cost.
