Hey I'm trying to decide between these gaming laptops as I am going on a break after college (Gap Year) and I need a laptop as I can't transport a whole rig on the plane (I'm going to Seattle if you were wondering if you weren't then you know anyways.) If you know any other amazing laptops for gaming please suggest them below.

ASUS - https://www.asus.com/uk/Laptops/ROG-GL702VS/wheretobuy/

Acer - https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/predator-model/NH.Q17EK.002

MSI - https://www.msi.com/Laptop/GT73VR-7RE-TITAN.html#hero-overview

Gigabyte - https://www.aorus.com/product-detail.php?p=218&t=35&t2=69&t3=70

Razer - https://www.razerzone.com/gb-en/gaming-systems/razer-blade

Thanks

If you had a specific budget in mind, you'd be better off going through an ODM to build one for you. HIDevolution and LPC Digital are the top tier ODM's here in America. You can even configure a 15.6 inch laptop with a GTX 1080 (and desktop CPU) for as low as $2200: http://www.hidevolution.com/evoc-16l-g-1080-custom-built-gaming-desktop-replacement-laptop.html

If you already have a desktop with a Skylake/Kaby CPU, you can even save yourself some money and use it instead. You can also configure for a 120hz panel if you play competitive games that warrant a higher refresh rate (at the cost of G-Sync).

Otherwise, they have great offers on Clevo models: http://www.hidevolution.com/evoc-clevo-p750dm3-g-custom-built-gaming-desktop-replacement-laptop.html

The above option gives you a 120hz panel WITH G-Sync, and a desktop 7700k that is delidded with CLU on the die, and a GTX 1070. On a 1080p panel, that thing would easily hit those refresh rates, and last quite a while with modern games.

If you didn't want to go with an ODM, and wanted something you could buy and pick up today, I'd say go with the MSI laptop. ASUS has some questionable CS issues, and Gigabyte is still quite new to the laptop game. Acer is a great alternative, but MSI wins out on the features. Razer, well.. a premium comes with their name alone.

That, I wouldn't know. I have no experience flying.

The Aero 14 is also tier 1.

The MSI 16L13 is the only 15in laptop with a 1080. http://www.hidevolution.com/evoc-16l-g-1080-custom-built-gaming-desktop-replacement-laptop.html

The Alienware 17r4 is good

The Asus G701VI is good

Aorus X5v7 is also good.

So here is my quick opinion on the acer as i owned it for about a month in total between the 3 of them, there screens are really poor quality if you decide to buy one do it in store open it up and check the screen, other then that the typing on it was the best I've felt from a laptop and it performed great. It is a heavy laptop not too portable keep in mind. when i gamed with it it stayed cool cpu never going higher then 74C

Main PC = I5 7600K @4.5ghz, Asus Gtx1070, 16GB DDR4 3000Mhz, 480GB SSD, Msi Z270 Mobo.
