Hello

I'm searching for a new graphicscard for my new R5 1600 build. I looked at the RX 570, the cheapest one with a decent cooler would be the MSI armor edition for about 185€. Then I assumed that the price difference between an RX 570 and RX 580 4GB isn't that big and I checked out some RX 580s. But the cheapest 580 (Gigabyte Gaming) costs about 225€. Thats a price difference of about 40€. But I would get the MSI armor RX 580 4GB anyways since the price premium is small and I like black and white cards. So my question is: Is it worth it paying the premium for the RX 580? The RX 570 delivers enough performance for me but I wanted to have some headroom. I have a Full HD 60Hz monitor.

cs/lol/dota/minecraft, RX 570 is good enough. but I would still recommend going RX 580 because if you get a higher resolution monitor, or want to play a demanding game, you would have enough performance for it. Plus, it's only $40..

I don't think both cards are different except from the clock speeds, how much is the RX 570 8GB Gaming X in your country? If it's at the same price as the RX 580 get it

get the 8gb so you have no v ram problems in the future

for example r6s all settings max uses 7gb (shows it in the game)

Don't use UserBenchmarks to compare GPU, it doesn't report how it performs in game

A 580 is only around 10% faster for an around 20% more in price

vram doesn't play a huge role for R6S. You can see a 780Ti is very close to a 480 8gb despite having 5gb less vram

GTX 1070 is bang for the buck for me, but I am afraid that GPU can bottleneck LGA 775 system
