Help me choose a GPU!

Erbyy

Hello, im looking for an upgrade in terms of a GPU. Im curious on the level of bottle necking i have on my system, since i know very minimal of the topic i came here! What do you think about this?
My build currently: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vtZgyf
Oc'd to 4.4Ghz
I know its old but it suits my needs kinda.

I was looking into a Rx570 or possibly a 1070.
What kind of gpu should i be looking for?
Or would it be easier to just upgrade the entire system.

keep gpu, save up some money, v e g a and whatever nvidia is releasing (i forgot the codename..)

after you upgrade your gpu, you should look at upgrading to ryzen

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

IMO GTX 1060 6GB or RX 480/580, anything beyond that will cause CPU bottleneck
Also PSU is quite mediocre

Get a ryzen 1600 or 1600x and keep that gpu, cause its good, but that cpu will bottleneck most newer gpus.

Try using the PSU Tier List!

Upgrade the whole system now as the FX 8320 is hilariously bad. What would be your budget for a new machine?

Cmon bro, its not horrible lmao. But honestly i know what i want. And for a decent Zen setup would be around 1k. I already have half the parts so in reality the new system would only cost me around 6-700.

Here you go : https://pcpartpicker.com/list/V6kCPs

You will need new ram, as ryzen supports only ddr4, but its not expensive.

Ryzen 5 1600 is an excellent processor, Ive included a mounting bracket for your h80i if necessary. I think it should mount fine but just on case. A 6gb gtx 1060 is a great card, but an rx 580 is essentialy identical, just choose which one you want.

And of course a reliable psu helps aswell.

Good Luck!

Get a Dark rock 3, even better the pro. It's in line in terms of cooling with more expensive AIOs, and it's dead silent.
