Best Budget Android Smartphone 2017 (from my list)

I'm buying a phone for my mom, she doesn't need too much, but I want the best I can get for the money..  She cares about good camera and ease of use (she's switching from an very old phone with physical buttons).

I'd like it to have low amount of bloatware as well.

Please pick one from the list.

 

NOTE: These are the only ones I can get in my country! Yeah I know, not that many phones.

I like Motorola. Xperias imo generally have a lot of bloatware and the Huaweis do to.I would say the Motorola with the round shape is much more comfortable in the hand

Oh well it's not like I'm gonna be using it. Is it really the best performing from the list (best camera, least bloatware)

Its the only round phone.I would never buy a completly square phone like the p9

I never held a square phone so I don't know how it feels. What is that thing for on bottom of the back?

Well I just read a review and watched the video from android authority. I like the fact it has amoled and 4k recording. The android is almost vanilla. And as you said it is comfortable to hold. I might as well get the Moto Z.

Can you get Moto Mods where you live? If you can that would greatly add to the appeal of the Moto Z Play.

I can't.. but I can order the shell on ebay right? To hide the ugly back.. I wouldn't get anything else from the mods I saw. My mom will put in the wallet type case.

Yes, you can! Unfortunately eBay links are apparently now banned on the LTT forum, but if you search eBay you can find many varieties. If eBay ships to your region you may also be able to find mods that way.

The Z play is pretty superior in terms of Efficiency and power.

But, maybe you want to consider xiaomi

I am using xiaomi redmi note 3 pro currently and it is working perfectly

The specification is similar with huawei p9 lite but it's a bit cheaper

You can find it in amazon for around $200

The Moto z play and Moto z come with 1 shell included.

If you order out for a hasselblad camera motomod later on it's an amazing addition always makes my friends jelly.

And it comes with a decent carry thingy you can drop into your handbag no biggy.
