Custom program for cablemod strips?

So the motherboard I got has an RGB header and I can control the strips with software (MSI Mystic Light) although it's pretty limited. Is there a 3rd party program I can use to get more effects?

No that I know of no. The problem is getting the software to speak with the hardware. If they would release their API's, well the story would be different
