What do you think of Vertus newest "dumb phone"?

Hey there folks!

As shown by GSMArena, a new phone will be made by Vertu themselves, where only 8 units will be available for purchase and apparently only one will be made available in 8 per location of distribution. It costs nothing more and nothing less than 360,000$ and you will get it to your house, workplace or castle of choice on a helicopter (hopefully with an armed escort just in case they attempt to steal it in mid flight).

Looks pretty nice tough, would buy it but... its more ridiculous than a luxury watch xD. At least it can make phonecalls uhu!? Do you like this phone design ehe?

Who's gonna buy it for someone else? If you're spending 100k+ it better be on yourself on a midlife crisis yacht

That's much more than a small loan of a million dollars.

I dont don't even think trump can afford it, his net worth is around that much USD (not even euro)

So it's a dumb phone with a weird snake on the front? Looks uncomfortable to hold, and why not just get the super expensive smartphones:

It's a great budget phone as well, only costing $20K.

But in defense to the company, they claim it is "encrypted" on both the messaging and phonecalling fronts. I would love if someone could test just how secure a 20,000$ privacy luxury smartphone would be, but i suppose it must be for the price and services they want to give to you uh?

In the world of luxury, a lie may be much greater than we general consumers experience constantly :(.

Well, the one I linked the video to has a security mode where only those you choose can even try and call you, and it's encrypted as well.

Yup. So all the Mafia bosses and drug lords use them? Then they'd have to be secure, because if they lied to those people...

Its funny tough that Nokia "allegedly" founded a company in England when their headquarters were in Finland...

Well i guess many luxury companies came from England, namely Rolex, Burberry, Rolls Royce, etc.

The R names are just love. Rolex only one my dad owns but it is quite old. Rolls Royce wish to have some day. Not to forget Range Rover and Jaguar. Even some great players David Beckham.
