2017 Buget $1000 RGB PC Build

Go to solution Solved by Zando_,

About as cheap as I could get it and keep the RGB RAM (though you could drop that to save some $$$ or spend more and get a mobo with RGB):

I can build an i7 based one as well, but it'll cost more. And I put in a bigger PSU than you need to make sure you have overhead to run RGB fans, controllers, strips, etc.

You could also save money by getting a 1060 6GB or (I'd recommend) an RX580 8GB.

Alright guys, I've been researching a lot. But I need help there's just so much to choose and I'm afraid of the outcome being bad.

I want to build My first PC with RGB, intel i7 and some sort of GTX 1070. And the rest of the parts to be affordable but still look great in the end. If possible for $1000 with a max price of $1200

Heres a free thoughts but I'm iffy on it.

Mostly gaming? Or some editing work and stuff? If you do more than just game, a Ryzen 7 1700 is the best CPU right now. When overclocked, it can give an i7 7700K a run for it's money. And RGB shouldn't be too hard to do. I assume you're in the US?

Now I plan to game on it and in the future maybe use virtual machines and render 4K video as that's why I plan to go with intel though it is extremely expensive. And doesn't work best with virtual Machines

The Ryzen 7 1700 will handle any game just fine, and has way more cores to allocate to rendering videos or VMs. Do you want me to make an Intel build? The 7700K is the one you want for gaming and editing, but it's expensive.

Personally I just trust Intell more I've had issues with AMD in the past. And more of a RGB build. But yeah, could you try to make a build of 1200 if possible if not then 1500 but more RGB options with a $1500 build
