Still overpriced. I could buy nearly three 1800X's at this price point.

We're talking about Australian rupees here.

 

While you could by an 1800X and with no doubt it would be better value, there are still advantages to going with a Broadwell-E CPU (PCIe lanes, etc).

 

Not hating, I live in Australia and run an R7 1700 myself.
