Change the "temperature hysteresis" or w/e it is, I think I have mine set to 2 degrees. And if you are trying to reduce noise, keep the fan running at like 30% until ~55 degrees, then put a marker for like 45-50% around 65-70 degrees (up to you really) and then increase from there...

You have your curve way too steep for noise reduction.

i would so do that but even with this current fan curve temp climbs to 75c

Jeez. Well you do have a 1440p monitor as do I, and my 980Ti does not get that hot. Hottest I've seen is around 68 during pretty intense games and I have a little lower fan curve.

What games are making it climb that high? (Either way, 75c is still perfectly fine for your card.)

Also about how warm is it in your room?

yeah im not worried about the temp, and today it is pretty warm as it's 80 outside and was about 78f in my room. and believe it or not but ffxiv is what gets my card the hottest out of all my games so far

Yeah that's pretty warm in your room. And that's cool you play ffxiv, never got into it after my first few months of playing.... Elder Scrolls Online is where MMOs are at for me (new update 6/6/17)... Haven't played in a month or so though. ESO definitely gets my card the warmest, with Rocket League being a close second.
