water cooling GPU

would it matter I brought an MSI 1080 Ti, Asus Rog 1080 TI or just a Nvidia 1080 ti to water cool and overclock or can you overclock an MSI or Asus GPU more than the standard 1080ti GPU from Nvidia?

Firstly make sure you can actually get a block for those cards, then just pick the one with the highest boost clock

Buy whichever has a water block for it and if it was me I'd then pick whichever is the cheapest GPU (They are all expensive) but once you will begin your overclock it will be quite a bit of a performance gain over air cooled so any differences between one 1080 Ti to another will be minimal.
