That laptop, isn't it $1600? I can build Ryzen 7 1700 system with that (everyone can too)

Buy what you want. If you're buying the game pure for benchmarking, yea GTA will work. So will The Witcher 3, Battlefield 1, Or Deus Ex Man Kind Devided

Youll enjoy it, I recommend it. After about 500 hours or so youll find yourself looking for stuff to do but updates are rolled out quite frequently so odds are there will always be something objective-based to do.

My laptop with a 4710HQ and GTX 870M can run it fine, so you should be good to go.

Yeh, they only made the 800 series in laptops. For desktops they went from 700 right to 900. Was a weird gap interval of time for GPU's, almost like the off season between sports.

eh he asked I answered.
There's not really much to say other than that tbh.

It's a p aight game if he wants to test his laptop for games.
It has a huge variety of video settings and even has a lil meter of your VRAM usage with your current settings.
Not to mention as far as testing goes it offers a lot of areas from a densely packed city to a desert with basically nothing in it.

I feel like I lost brain cells having to deal with your useless post.

Spoiler

Because I did.
