Google Made a $5,000 SmartBoard (JamBoard)

NTDaws

Google has finally gotten to the point where they made a whiteboard, basically a SMARTBoard but made for businesses. It's called the JamBoard.

The Jamboard was a 55 Inch 4K Screen, it is made for a variety of users to write on. The board can be shared amongst users, they will work on other JamBoards as well.

We had smartboards like those back when I was IT for a university. Had 20 Mondopads, which were the same thing but $8k and were a hell of a lot less functional.

These look cool though with some great features

Plastic screen will get shredded in no time

Also, it seems the app to collaborate on the work is available on existing mobile devices. What's going to stop people from simply using it on their tablets and bypass the jamboard completely?

it probably needs a host, which will be the jamboard itself and from the sound of it there is a license involved. "annual service costs"
