I can't really recommend a specific company, as many companies have both good and bad products. But you should try to stay within the BenQ/Asus/Samsung/AOC realm as they are some of the most popular and widely accepted.

LG aren't as big in the low-mid end computer monitor spectrum though, they make some of the best monitors out there but they are certainly expensive.

look for specific models, some comanies make good monitor but some other model if same company is bad
