Nope. It's a great operating system if you don't need the full MS Office or photoshop or anything, have good internet, and are a big Google user. For me, it isn't as capable as other linux installations, but it'd still be fun to tinker with. And also, lots of ChromeBooks are super affordable and many of them look really nice.

I use a Chromebox as my work computer and I find that everything in Chrome OS, just works extremely well. Other than the occasional driver issue here and there, I've had no hiccups.
