Paid for a Year of Floatplane in US Dollars!?

Just paid for a Year of float plane up front which I could have sworn Linus said is paid in Canadian Dollars but Ive been charged in US Dollars. At no point does it state what currency it is upon purchasing so I just assumed before paying that it was CAD . You guys are a Canadian company. what gives ? Whilst I realize its £6 difference for me It would have been nicer if things were clearer

Doesn't it say in the PayPal before you confirm the payment the type of currency and how much it will cost you in your currency?

Linus specifically mentioned it's USD when he talked about it on the wan show.

Listen more closely?

Pretty sure it should specify what currency it is in when buying though.

Paypal just comes up with my address and my card and says agree and continue. Not even the value is shown in paypals side. There are 2 mentions of Value which doesn't state the currency either. Could just be my end.

Just checked it as a Dutch guy, PayPal did not state the amount when completing the transaction. (might be because I have setup one click payments)

I've learned as a European that $ means USD unless CAD, AUS, or something else is stated before it.

It is a valid point to bring up and I'm sure if you give feedback to a moderator or employee they will clarify which currency is being used.

I've complained in past about same thing. But all purchases in forums are in USD so they don't think its worth it to mess with store plugin.
