Well since they screwed something up causing my speeds to tank..

3874299784.png

Here is what I usually get and sadly Fiber is not an option, this is the best I am offered.. Unless I want 6/2 from Frontier with a 20GB cap.. Which is a HUGE NO.

3866690265.png

I pay for 3Mb/s down and 1Mb/s up. Usually my ping settles in the 30-46 range but that speedtest was the first I found with pushing 2+Mb/s... Most are with multiple people on.

I hate my internet, I don't even get 1mb over wireless on any device, I don't know why it's saying I get this when I only get 500-800kbp/s.

P.S. Do NOT sign up for sky internet in the UK, The TV is great, the internet is shocking.

Paying for 3Mb/s down and 1Mb/s up. They fixed our internet.

Work Connection

I'm assuming your office is quite small by that 'net connection.

Don't bother with their customer service, just threaten to leave, gets half decent support. Or you could just leave.

Just upgraded to docsis 3.0 gear and talked my way out of any associated fees in exchange for driving to ISP's office, picking up and installing it myself.

They recently upgraded my area and doubled DL speeds. Cable marketing spam used a new number to call so I was fooled into picking up and that's how I found out.

Price went down which is suspicious to say the least. UL still sucks my 2004 DSL line was better.

This is LTT. One cannot force "style over substance" values & agenda on people that actually aren't afraid to pop the lid off their electronic devices, which happens to be the most common denominator of this community. Rather than take shots at this community in every post, why not seek out like-minded individuals elsewhere?
