5Mbit = $47USD my country due to government not subsidizing at all. Compared to Singapore, you can get 150Mbit just for $38USD.

Well, I paid for 25 down and 10 up, so I suppose I should be happy with those conservative estimates. :3

Thats kinda stupid that you dont have a better download speed.

It's because he's probably using ADSL, which sacrifices upload for download speeds.

This is my private line, but the family/household use a seperate 80Mb connection, which is nice to have as a back-up. :)

I'm hoping to build a dual WAN router and bridge the two for redundency and load balancing.

Definitely on Virgin Media Cable Broadband, ADSL speeds in the UK max out at about 25mb/s download so that's way out of that range. Upload speeds a bit slow though thats only thing not overly impressed about with that speedtest download speeds blisteringly fast for UK!

Might move to Bournemouth (Southern England, UK) just so I can have this... https://gigler.co.uk/. If your in the coverage area definitely worth a look

Never thought i'd see a plusnet speedtest on here haha :) and nice speed for UK ADSL too

Plusnet say I should get like 19MB/s download speed, but I get no where near that.

It is weird that I got 10MB/s download on the test as I am only able to reach 1.4Mb/s most of time.
