Where in Australia are those speeds available? (without a metroE connection)

Was unsure if i should've picked FTH or other as my internet comes through ethernet connected to the dslam. But the dslam is fiber, last 30/50m is ethernet.

Nope....Just nope.

I am curious to see what other people pay and what kind of connection they get for the price, and also do you get the speed your ISP promised? I pay about 10$ a month for maximum speeds of 940/450 (down/up) and an average of 850/450 (down/up)

1000/1000 for $80/month via AT&T (giga/super/mega/whatever it's called) fiber

I usually get about 900-940 down and up depending on the load which is pretty much in line once overhead is taken into account.

6/2 and ~100 per month. Thanks spectrum. Nobody else services our area. Nowhere remotly close to the promised speed (something like 100/10)

But it often gets quite worse... (These were taken over the course of a couple months)

No way, that must be a 6 or 12 month deal and then it doubles. Who the hell sell that low ? how much bandwidth 100 mb per month ?

Sorry, you are right, not a deal, but made mistake for the bundle price.  Over all price is:

New charges
Home Phone $0.34
Internet $75.00
TELUS TV $90.00
GST / HST $8.27
PST $9.82
Total new charges..................................................................$183.43

Bandwidth is 1TB/month.

I know it used to be Gigapower but it looks like now (according to the website at least) it's just AT&T Fiber but I'm sure that will change :P

What were they thinking with that data cap, you can use it all up in just a little over an hour. I remember having a 500GB data cap back in 2012 (with 100mbps down, 5mbps up internet). What's the name of your ISP?

oh I'm on crack, just checking their website it says the cap is 2TB per month. I don't stream video often so I don't think we end up near that ever. ISP is a local one, and it's a weird setup because the fiber line is owned by a multi-city organization but actual service comes through any one of several ISPs.
