Your mac has a 10GbE network connection? Are you using an iMac Pro at Nvidia. Quite odd since it uses a AMD Vega Pro GPU. Or is it a thunderbolt to 10Gb ethernet adapter?

It seems like after you pass 3gbps on speedtest, the result ID doesn't exist.

Here's another speedtest that was nearly 3gbps: http://www.speedtest.net/result/7039959693

Yeah pretty much - was done using a MacBook Pro and 10Gbit thunderbolt NIC. Few other results had like 7up but like 4.2 down

Might've posted in here ages ago but they've gotten a little better and I'm using Ethernet now.

We pay about $60/mo for 12mbps down/7mbps up.

I want to go to Comcast soon. Hopefully by April... Re-do home network...

Why doesn't everyone use DSLReports? Better because the quality and bufferbloat ratings!

I can get Gigabit with Comcast, but then its still only 35Mb/s up! 2Gbit is available, but it hasn't dropped to $150 yet, still $300 in my area

We should also mention if we are behind CGNAT. A lot of people in Europe have gigabit internet, however they have extremely poor peering and they are behind CGNAT, so it could be 100Gb/s connection for all they care, its pretty limited at the ISP's end

1Gb/s connection is only a 1Gb/s connection to your ISP
