Got to love Vermont internet.

It is also only 80 dollars a month with phone and TV. Cheap considering the same price with Xfinity in my area gets me only 25mbps.

How is the stock router? I have heard that its terrible and there is not much to get around it. I have seen a guy so some crazy port mirroring on his switch just to use his own pfsense config

I haven't delved into it that much other than some of the main features. The one deeming feature is the ability to use the TV boxes as wifi repeaters.

This is why you don't live somewhere where the one isp with dsl and fiber completely refuses to take it down your road due to "not enough demand" when a road with a single person on it will be getting it this summer. Please, 240p yt videos on a 1080p monitor look like ass, I can't go on sites with loads of images, just, no...

Honest question, why don't you just move? Or get some kind of 4G/Sat solution?

Using Satellite like what @bear-in-the-air said, and I'm only 13... Everyone but my mom wouldn't mind moving as long as we lived in the general area... She wants me and my older brother to grow up in the same house we entered for the first time... I can understand why as her childhood was awful and she had one of the houses she lived in burn down.

Charter gets much better where I'm at. About 40 down and 5 up I think for close to $50/mo. I'm on Frontier now. Paying for 3.4 down, 1 up, and I rarely get half the down and a quarter of the up speeds.. Glad I only pay $20/mo.
