This is actually with a 75/35 connection. Thanks for the boost Verizon!

Wireless:

I am using a pretty old laptop, so I am not sure if that has anything to do with the slow speed.

My usual computer is being RMA'd by MSI.

Used to be on the 6/1 plan. Looks like Comcast took pity on us and gave us a little upgrade. :D

AT&T U-Verse for $100; 13 Static IPs, 20Mb down, 2Mb up(currently limiting this to my servers, so the house gets 0.5Mb, which is enough). I would be able to get 35Mb down and 6Mb up if AT&T took the 1 hour to update some card in the node at the corner of my street, but because no one else pays for a $50-$100 connection, AT&T is not obligated to update the node for one person(which is me). I would also pay the same $100.

I can do Charter for $50; 1 Static IP, 30Mb down, 4Mb up, but I need my Static IPs.

Its to be expected since this is the fastest home line. However I bet you pay peanuts for your line.

Wish I had Utopia fiber. Same concept as Google fiber but you aren't locked into just using Google, you can choose your own isp.
