Upgade help

Erazone

I'm looking to upgrade my PC from 2011-2012. Which parts should I upgrade, maybe just graphics card? Or would it be better to just get a whole new PC.

Currently have a budget of around £250. But if I were to get a new PC in the future would look to spend £600-700.

Thanks for the help.

Look for an i7-2600K or 3770K and OC it, but give priority to the GPU. As above an RX 580 4GB or 8GB will do the job.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

Actually yeah, that's a really good choice. But OP'll have to find a good deal for around 250 pounds

Alright thanks for the help guys. I'll probably go with the RX 580 8GB. But I'll also look into getting a second hand i7 3770K/ 980Ti like you said Daniel Z/Energycore. If its okay to ask what would be the a good price range for those parts second hand?

And I'm from the UK

*Edit: LTTFFDarlo since your from the UK what would be a good price for a second hand i7 3770K and an RX 580 8GB just so I have some idea when searching.

As I don't buy a lot of second hand hardware I'm unavailable to help you with that, sorry.

OP mentions a budget in british pounds so it's safe to assume they live in the United Kingdom

You should be able to get a use i7-2600k or 3770k from r/hardwareswapuk or something for less than £100. For 980Ti, I've seen them selling for under £250. £330 for a Hybrid 980Ti from CeX is a pretty decent price though, so I've linked that just in case.

Just found this on Reddit;

Thanks for the links man. Unfortunately, Buckinghamshire is too far for me, but I'll keep watching that subreddit for the i7-2600k or 3770k and maybe if another 980Ti pops up.
