No listing for Command prompt under the "file" menu within windows explorer.

Trying to follow the directions for this here.

and I cannot open cmd from explorer as it says, the option is just not there I get an open new window option and than it goes to open Windows Powershell.

Does anyone have any insight into this? Windows 10 pro 64bit build #15063.296

Powershell can do whatever command prompt does, and tons more.

thought so but wasn't sure, have literally never touched it, still odd though since this should be in windows 10 since a guide on finding cmd in win 10 mentioned this exact method.

I'm on a Win7 machine right now so I can't look too far into it. But on my home computer I'm able to right click the "start button" (windows icon at the bottom left of taskbar) and launch cmd prompt from there.

Haha where is the GUI to open the cli.

cant you just hit the windows key, type cmd.exe and enter?

On Windows 10 you can also use win+x and select command prompt from the menu that pops up (allows you to open an administrator prompt easier)
