Free sync Vs g sync monitor

Hey guys I was just going through a convo  580 Vs 1060 so they said about free sync and get sync monitors so can anyone explain me about it

They sync the refresh rate of your monitor with your GPUs frame rate, assuming the GPUs frame rate is in the freesync or g sync range of that specific monitor.

So in this way the frame rates increase

Assuming you already know what each do, freesync is significantly cheaper than gsync module displays

The sync the refresh rate with your FPS to prevent tearing. G-Sync is for Nvidia, and Freesync is for AMD. G-sync monitors are more expensive because Nvidia requires the manufacturer to add a $200 chip to use it. Free-sync is basically free and most new monitors, even ones not for gaming include it

No, if you take the 10-15 minutes of your time to watch the 2 videos about gsync and about freesync you'll know all the things you need to know

FreeSync and G-Sync are both something called adaptive sync. This means that the monitor's refresh rate matches the framerate of whatever title you're playing, resulting in buttery-smooth gameplay and zero screen tearing.

 

It's important to note that FreeSync is exclusive to AMD GPUs (and maybe Intel sometime in the future) and G-Sync is exclusive to NVIDIA GPUs. The reason there's the whole FreeSync vs G-Sync debacle is because of the massive price difference between the two. Both have price premiums added on top of the actual cost of the monitor, but since G-Sync requires a special module integrated into the monitor, the overall cost of a G-Sync monitor is going to be significantly higher than that of a FreeSync monitor with similar specs.

 

Hence, that's why I recommend a RX 480/580 if someone is getting a new monitor as well.

No, it eliminates tearing, and doesn't have the side effect of stuttering that v sync has.
