This forum uses IPB from invision power which is pretty alright, a competitor to that software is PHPBB

I have never heard or used Proboards, so can't compare the two, I just know PHPBB is pretty good if you want to set up your own forum. Gotta add that I have only seen the implementation of PHPBB as an amateur small forum, not as a forum with more than 200 members.
