I have - they are unnoticably the same. I will run some more though, give me some time.

Synthetic benchmarks are not totally meaningless, they provide a reputable number baseline for average performance.

Yep I agree using Unigine Valley, Heaven or Superposition would be better.

Sorry to break it to you, but Passmark is shit. Run Unigine Superposition, 3DMark Firestrike and TimeSpy if you want to find out how your card really performs.

It is clear this benchmark is flawed if a GTX 950 performs about the same as a GTX 970 considering the GTX 970 has over double the cores and almost double the memory bandwidth than the GTX 950.

Edited by Benasurus
Add bandwidth comparison

Run Superposition and upload the result with GPU-Z in the screenshot. BTW, a 1050 Ti is like a higher clocked 950, so if the 950 is clocked high enough, it can match or outperform a 1050 Ti ;)

if a 950 can beat a 1050ti then I feel bit sad that I at one point i  my life decided to upgrade a 760 to  1050ti due to budget limit

I don't think it can beat a 1050 Ti TBH. But don't you have a 480?

in that case its not really close, thats like 800 points difference in a benchmark thats not even that accurate.

Could be PCI lanes, my processor only supports a max of 20 and I have it in a motherboard that has 2 GPU slots.
