LAPTOP INFESTED WITH BUGS

There are small bugs crawling out of my ASUS ROG laptop's ethernet port. I had my laptop cleaned by a technician, and he said he didn't find any insects inside. They are still crawling out frequently.

What should I do? It's only a year old laptop.

Or try getting bug repellent and spraying around the laptop, would not recommend spraying in it

...Uhm... Not the kind of bugs i was expecting. You might have to find a different kind of forum for this. Best of luck to you.

You should see if there's anything an exterminator can do. Otherwise  you'll just need to take the back case off and leave it and blow compressed air into it every few minutes/hours so they don't reproduce.

I like to kill hardware. In 2016 alone I have killed 20 Xeon 5160, and 10+ Pentium 4.

Where do you leave it at night?  Try leaving it hanging from the ceiling in a net for the next couple of weeks.

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

The dorms I stay in have problems with bugs, but it's not that bad. I heard of people there getting bugs into their playstations but I never expected them to crawl into a laptop. I guess the heat attracts them.

If it is the heat then try to turn it off when not using it or get a lot of fans

Right now it's placed on a table outside of my house. I don't want these bugs to spread everywhere else lol

Doing that and maybe spraying a bug spray around could help?

I'm gonna be very cautions about my electronics during the semester. Now I just need to figure out how to get rid off them.

Wait I just had an idea. Have you tried suffocating the bugs? You can enclose them in a plastic bag or ziplock

Many insects can live for days without breathing, that would be hard, they would also keep being in there.

Hmm, it may work though if he leaves it in there by deflating it for 2-4 days

So if I sprayed bug spray and put the whole laptop in a bag? That would ruin the laptop, right?

Bug spray maybe but I don't think putting it in a bag would affect it if it is turned off

Put it in a bag, throw that in the freezer and see if that helps.  Alternatively burn the little fucjers with furmark
