My 480 is better than a 980 CORRECTED

So i made a post about my 480 being better than a 980 a while back with a firestrike score of 15200 or something. Now that ive overclocked my memory to 8860, ive gotten a new score, which wipes the floor with most 980s.
http://www.3dmark.com/fs/12492767. The graphics score is 16408.
While it may not be better than all 980s, its sure as hell up there.

And yes, i know that the 980 will still outperform my 480 in many games, but this overclock should let my 480 beat out the 980 in quite a few more games.

Are you comparing it to an OC'ed 980, not just stock?

A 980 can also handle certain lighting effects without artifacting so... artificial numbers in a bench don't mean anything lmao

not a fair comparison, rx480 has much better driver support, in raw performance, they are both similar( rx480 might have an advantage in some area).

well, the 980 will still probably beat it in a few games. and im posting this more to give the finger to the nvidia fanboys who laughed at amd when the 480 wasnt as powerful as the 980.

you understand you should be happy right? a midrange GPU that can beat a top of the line GPU from a few years ago, competition is good, just be happy instead of rubbing it in, lower price benefits us all.

A 980 is like 180-220. 100 is a lucky craigslist price and should be ignored.
