Cool for those that live near a Microcenter..still wouldn't drop around $200 for a discounted i5 when Ryzen 5 chips are in the same ballpark.

I'm heading there now to pick up that 7700k and a mobo so I can be upgraded to kaby lake before I have to go to college

Its a little less, like $30 off vs $50. But they still sell ryzen super low as well.

This isn't some insane sale or anything, these are standard Microcenter prices on the current and previous generation chips.
