I'd like to think this will be somewhat "cheap" thanks to it being ryzen powered, but as its got the RoG logo on there, i'm doubting that already.

Looking forward to this more than on desktop. The more limited use cases and power optimisation makes Ryzen a good fit. I find half decent gaming laptops rather hard to swallow price wise, so hope this will help out. I just hope they don't make the traditional gaming laptop mistake of putting too much power into the CPU side, not enough into the GPU side. Something like a quad core 3 GHz base with 1070 class graphics would be sweet in 15" form factor.

ryzen in surface would be fucking amazing, lower power consumption and more cores which is often needed for the use case of the surface lineup (productivity with multitasking). if they release this i can wholeheartedly recommend it to my parents.
