Anywho, the only difference between the blocks is that one of them is Nickel plated copper and the other is just plain copper.

Is there any significant difference in performance?

Nope, just looks. The only thing you need to worry about is mixing aluminium with copper, nickel or brass. But I would never use aluminium in a good watercooling loop.

Nickel plating is more resistant from corrosion.

Yeah he did, one of the few that mentioned it. Didn't seem to know when I sent a message to him early on, so was glad to see it mentioned. You'll love that board by the way, it's a monster.
