Anywho, the only difference between the blocks is that one of them is Nickel plated copper and the other is just plain copper.

Nope, just looks. The only thing you need to worry about is mixing aluminium with copper, nickel or brass. But I would never use aluminium in a good watercooling loop.

Nickel plating is more resistant from corrosion.

Yes, don't use it. It makes zero difference in the board performance anyway.
