best 140mm case fans

k0enf0rNL

hello,

i've made some topics about orange LED fans but i think i will step away from that and use some LED strips around my case.

now i need 3 high airflow 140mm fans for the back and front

i need 2 high pressure 140mm fans for a kraken x60

and 2 high airflow 120mm fans for the bottom out/intake

these fans are gonna be placed in the corsair obsidian 750D

no LED and i prefer black over any other colour!

i want to overclock!

any suggestions?

i've been looking at these: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/bitfenix-case-fan-bffsprop14025kkrp

are they any good?

thanks in advance :)

I agree, but unfortunately, OP requires black fans :/

So? Spray paint them.

Or dye them.

So? Spray paint them.

Or dye them.

Certainly a possibility, although I would assume most won't really feel comfortable doing something like that considering the chance of ruining the dynamics of the fan

If you dont mind the color Noctua is the way to go!

I personally love BitFenix Spectre Pro's! It comes in whatever size you want except anything below 120mm

(yes there are non-LED versions of it)

Another set of fans I could refer is Gentle typhoons and Corsairs SP Series.

I prefer SP fans for directional Airflow and let's face it once there is a mesh, a grill or anything that obstructs airflow you pretty much need SP fans...

System: Razer Edge Mouse: Razer Orochi Mouse pad: Razer Vespula Controlers: Razer Sabertooth (2 pcs.) Headset: Razer Blackshark Speakers: Razer Ferox What can I say, I'm a huge fan of Razer.  :D

Corsair AF140 is great

the airflow is really low for a 140mm fan. i'd like something with more than 80 cfm.

http://www.amazon.com/Noiseblocker-NB-BlackSilentPro-140mm-Ultra-Quiet/product-reviews/B004JUCNUW/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1

Noiseblocker NB-BlackSilentPro PK-3 140mm

27dBa at 1700RPM - you dont have to max out fans if you dont want that much noise but 27dBa is still prety silent

153m³/h / 90.056CFM

and if you want something even more beastly.. Im sorry but this page is not in your language but you can see specs:

http://www.tichepc.sk/Noiseblocker-NB-BlackSilentPRO-PK-PS-140x140x25mm-.html?arg1=001027038

Noiseblocker NB-BlackSilentPro PK-PS 140mm with PWM

400-1500RPM (+-10%)

4,2-29,2dBa

32 to 121 m ³ / h / 54.366 - 205.573 CFM

120 000 hours of operation for both

I mean.. even noctua has no such static presure and the price is similar.

OK that's no good. How about Be Quiet! Silent Wings 2, they come in 140/120mm sizes. As for radiator fans I'd say Noctua NF-A14 PMW, or Silverstone AP141.

the silent wings 2 only have 60 cfm. thats very low for a 140mm fan. the bitfenix spectre pro black 140mm PWM is the best i've seen so far. 122.2 cfm, 29.5 dba and 2.8 static pressure. i can put those on the kraken x60 and in my front and back of the case.

the only thing i need is 2 120mm fans with directed high airflow. i prefer black or orange LED over any other color.
