Canon Camera Connect App

I'm thinking of buying a canon 1300d (rebel T6 in US) which has WiFi , with which it can connect to mobiles and tablets with canon's camera connect app.

I know that one can shoot photo with it but i want to know if it is possible to shoot or even just monitor the video being shot through the app?

As the 1300d doesn't have a flip out screen , the ability to monitor the video being shot on my phone will be real life saver .

Do you happen to live in a country where Google, Yahoo, Bing, or any other search engine is blocked?
