RX 480 Running at 100% at idle

My RX 480 is stuck at 100% ultilazation whilist doing nothing. I dont understand it. I have restarted my PC and such. Can anyone help me out?

What program are you using to monitor it?

are you sure you don't have any viruses on your computer?

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB 

138 is a good number.

I figured it out. I got an Oculus Rift a few days ago and when I closed all the software in task manager related to Oculus it went to 0%

How does the 480 perform for the Oculus? Just curious since I can buy one cheap but still unsure if I should (a game dev studio closed and they're selling all their assets fairly cheap compared to the MSRP)

First VR headset I have owned. I haven't had any stuttering issues or noticable frame time delay. If you can get a good deal on the 480 I would pick one up. searching newegg the cheapest 580 is around $75 more than I paid for my 480. A used 480 would be one hell of a bang for buck for VR. Its probably best to get one with an aftermarket cooler, as long VR sessions cook the card as it favors cooking itself than loud fan speed.

Oh its pretty good. The touch controllers are pretty good, just as good as the vives I tried. I like the clipon headphone things that are appart of the unit

What temperatures is it running at after 5min idle vs 5min in-game?
