HDR has nothing to do with resolution.

Yes, the Xbox will work with the 4k TV.

1. Give me a more powerful pc than the PS4 pro for cheaper. Similar price, eh?

2. Not everyone wants to go through the hassle of building a pc. It can be annoying at times, whereas a console just works.

Well. Then give me a part list.

On the contrary, it took me at least 10 hrs to build my first pc due to issues that ended up arising. Not to mention some people don't want to research how to build one, or actually build one since they're afraid they'll break things.

Would I have had the issues of the pc not posting because of a loose cable with a console? No.

Would I have had the issue of having to change the setting in the bios from legacy/uefi to uefi in order to get windows to install, which took me like 5 hrs, if I got a console? No.

Would I have had the issue later on with some games like battlefront not working due to having missing dlls in my window install, which took me another 2-3 hrs, if I went with a console? No.

I don't deny that the pc platform itself is superior to the console platform. However, that doesn't mean everyone should ditch their console and get a pc.

That's the problem I have with people who force their beliefs upon others, saying that pc is better than console, without even considering how console players feel when being told to use a pc. The true pcmr aren't the people who force their beliefs onto others telling them their console peasants. The true pcmr are the people that recognize for some people pc is a better choice, and for others console is the better choice.

If it's gonna take 7 months to save up for a PS4 Pro, you might as well just wait for the XB Project Scorpio, as "in theory", it'll be significantly more powerful compared to the PS4 Pro.

Please keep in mind that the XBOX One S doesn't play ("render") most games at 4K. Most of them are still 1080p or under. This is because the SoC inside the XBO S is basically the same as the original XBO.

It does allow 4K output for things like UHD Blu-Ray, 4K Netflix, 4K YouTube, etc.

This would be the same as the PS4 or PS4 Slim.

The PS4 Pro does render some games at 4K, depending on the specific game and whether it's been optimized for those settings. The XB Project Scorpio will be very similar to the PS4 Pro, except with a larger and more powerful GPU.

We're not allowed to post eBay links, but you might find a PS4 Pro on eBay for considerably less than retail price. Or you could upgrade to Project Scorpio if you're more a fan of Xbox exclusive developers than PS4 ones.
