Ryzen how do i do this?

So, since Ryzen 5 1600x doesnt have iGPU, how does one go and install the os without any graphics? do i just put my GTX 1070 and it should start up?

Yeah just do this, Microsoft basic display drivers will make the GTX 1070 work, you'll just have a crappy resolution until you install nVidia drivers.

still not working. all cables are plugged in and what not. still no display

still nothing. i get nothing. tnot even a beep. only thing i notice is the cpu fan speeds up slightly and then speeds down and keeps doing that

What display connector are you trying to use?

 

I've always found success with using DVI when the display driver is not present. Analogue connection i think works its magic.

You won't get any video from your motherboard's outputs, Ryzen doesn't have an iGPU.

 

Any possibility you can test the GTX 1070 in another build? Got another simply GPU laying around?

pics of what? i have an hdmi cable going from my gpu to monitor, and then from motherboard to monitor just to make sure, everything turns on, lights and everything, but no display is poping up

Is it first boot ever ?

First boot on ryzen can take 2-3 mins before bios pops up
