no, that's not how a Macbook should be, my mac runs like new with good battery life. an upgrade should be an upgrade in every way, not a small battery computer with hardly any port for a "pro" machine.

I think you aren't understanding what the new MacBook Pro is.

 

The new MBP has a smaller battery but gets better performance due to more efficient CPUs and GPUs. But if you use the GPU and CPU under load on battery power it will die like any laptop ever made. 

 

The new MBP has a superior I/O compliment than any MacBook Pro that has ever existed. 4 TB3 ports is far superior and more capable than dedicated USB,Ethernet,HDMI,SD, or any other ports.

in theory but my 4hr of battery life is lot less than 8hr i get on my old MacBook pro 15 inches. at least watch dave lees video before arguing this.

dongles are not exactly the best thing, not really worth the "thinness". 

 

i am also really salty about the apple logo, now it looks really ugly.

Dongles take 2 seconds to use. Doesn't matter that they are the most convenient thing in the world, they get the job done while everything else lags behind the curve of USB-C

Theoretically the 15" can get more battery life since the iGPU is weaker than my iGPU and the battery cell is much bigger and only has to power 2 more cores and the slightly bigger screen.

....no that's not how it works, the touch bar messes up so many things with glitches. in theory lot of things happen i am talking about in practice, before arguing about something you don't got good ideas about please watch the reviews.

Every computer can have its OS fail. This happens a lot on Windows Machines, it can happen to Macs too. Don't know why you would ever think otherwise. 

 

why? Because its a new concept that has never bene tried by Apple and it runs its own version of iOS that runs off its own CPU that is then injected into MacOS. Sometimes things go wrong.

very new, its so new razer had done it before with its trackpad. my point still stands OP will be served better with a stable macbook pro 15 inch 2015 model.
