i5 7500 for gtx 1070?

KenVelocity

I'm worried  about the strix gtx 1070 will it be stable together with the i5 7500?? are there lots of bottlenecks or less?? will it be able to last long enough for gaming??

it'll be stable but there will be a bottleneck. What resolution and games will you be running?

As always, depends on the game or program. In two or three years, your 1070 will be at the same point that the 970 is right now, i.e. needing lower details for similar frame-rates.

what games? You might have to turn down some CPU intensive settings like shadows and reflections but you can probably get 1440p

If you can get the gtx1070 then get it as its better than the rx480 in all those games and will age a little better but the rx480 can handle those games at that resolution. But the same thing applies about the CPU.

At 1440, you'll want the more powerful 1070, the 480 might not hit the max frame-rate that you're looking for.

The performance difference between a RX 480 and GTX 1070 is significant in itself.

Since you're building a new PC, why don't you grab a R5 1600 instead?

I want to, but most of the AM4 motherboards here in the Philippines have too much gap in terms of pricing compared to lga1151 motherboards.

How much exactly? If you have enough to afford a GTX 1070, surely a decent B350 motherboard isn't out of the question.

Bottlenecks...yeah, depends on game anyway. Using a i5-6500 @ 3.4GHZ with my 980 Ti and CPU struggles to keep up in some games.
