Hellp needed for DVD burning rig

Hello guys

what I want is to upgarde my PC to burn 5 or 6 DVDs at once.

but it should be accurate,  no missing parts after the burning

please someone tell me a way to do this

my specs

MSI H61 p33 mobo which has only 4 SATA ports and 3 of them are occupied with 1 SSD and 2 HDDs

core i3 4150 3.5Ghz 3rd Gen

2x 4 GB RAM 1800Mhz

sapphire radeon 260x  2GB

planning to upgrade to a RM 750i PSU

I already have 6 DVD Writers and cant put all of them in the casing and prefer to have 4 of them outside of the casing.

please tell me the right way to do this

Thank you

I'm not sure how to get the DVD Writers outside the casing. I would use a 8 port SAS/SATA Host bus adapter to connect the drives to such as this one: https://www.amazon.com/SAS9211-8I-8PORT-Int-Sata-Pcie/dp/B002RL8I7M/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1494130819&sr=8-1-fkmr1&keywords=LSI+9305-8i

DVD drives can't even max out the speed of SATA 6 Gb/s so a SAS 12 Gb/s Host Bus Adapter would not be unnecessary.

Um... by any chance are these large amounts of DVD burners for bootlegging?

Just buy a couple usb3 adapters, although I am curious as to why you would need to burn 6 discs at once?

The USB adapters will only work with 2.5" drives. Very few work with 3.5" drives. I haven't seen any that work with 5.25" drives.

Just use a powered hub, I've always just used used one with 5.25 burner since I don't have an external for my laptop.  Christ the dam things run off usb2 with an extra power plug. odd dont require much power.

Could be for business presentations...

Spoiler

But bootlegging is more probable.

Yes the host bus adapter will work. The power is supplied to the optical drives just like any other SATA device. This cable is used to connect the optical drives to the host bus adapter. https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Internal-Mini-SAS-Breakout/dp/B012BPLYJC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1494135323&sr=8-1&keywords=mini+sas+to+sata

how about this one/ its a lot cheaper and will this work with my scenario?
