ali124578

So I have both the jbl e30 and ebt40 and for some reason the right driver doesn't work on both of them it happened to the eb30 first and then the ebt40 shortly after

If they don't, then either your drivers (these things will tell your computer what kind of hardware it has and how to use it) are missing or the the headphone jack itself has failed. Lets say it is in fact your drivers that are missing, then all you need to do is either use windows update(it will detect many of your missing drivers) or go to the manufacturers website and look for them there(usually they will have a tab somewhere on the home page that will say something about support or downloads). And also try different headphones, those could have messed up as well.

Now lets say that you do see the headphones show up as an audio device. Then all you need to do is set them as the default and that should fix your problem. Though I will say that I currently have a problem with switching between the two. Once I start a program such as media player, it will stick with the current default audio device.

You misunderstood I meant the headphone driver itself meaning I only get sound in one side..

Strangely enough on both of my headphones the right side doesn't work

It doesn't matter if im using it on PC or mobile phone

You tested it with two different devices. Sounds like something is broken.

It wouldn't be muted on his phone though.  It just sounds like driver/wiring failure, which means he should contact support and get them fixed.

OP never mentioned phone, on PC you can independently lower the volume on the left or right

Maybe instead of raging at us about it, contact JBL and see what they can do about it?

2 devices, both the same right side driver. Either your PC or phone is frying your headphones.

E40BT is bluetooth tho o_O? Could also just be shoddy build, not like I expect anything out of 50 dollar fashion on-ear headphones.
