"Display Settings not be saved"

Guest
Go to solution Solved by Guest,

Well, looks like I'm buying a new monitor because Windows won't pick this one up for whatever reason :(

Just updated to the Creators Update and my DP monitor is getting no signal and is showing up as disconnected in the Display Settings window. If I try and extend the monitor or make it the main display I get the "Display Settings could not be saved" message. I have 3 monitors and the other 2 are fine.

The monitor works with HDMI and DVI, just not DP.

Here is an old trick. Unplug it, plug it back in.

Didn't work :(

Also tried reinstalling drivers and rolling back from the update - still buggered.

Not really. Try installing the oldest drivers you can find.
