More Ryzen AM4 ITX Boards by June - ASRock Gigabyte

mIITX motherboards have been scarce in the Ryzen age, with only some less than stellar Biostar models out. And while there is word of every single reputable manufacturer working in one, we finally have release dates for a couple of them!

As per the article: after contacting sales reps from ASRock and Gigabite, besides commenting on specifics of what they are trying to achieve with each board, June and July are the current tentative release dates!  Hooraay!!!  Now everyone can plan ahead.

I am personally excited because I would never get an unknown brand like Biostar, especially after the very bad reviews they've been receiving.

I haven't seen Biostar gt7 get worse reviews than the msi xpower on ocn.

Where have you seen recent Biostar boards get bad reviews?

On Newegg there are zero 1 star reviews, zero 2 star reviews, one 3 star review (person complaining about it only having a 4-pin CPU power), one 4 star review (complaining about the bios being "clunky", and three 5 star reviews. And I don't see the board on Amazon.

Ahhh you mean those "reviews".

Usually only someone with problems will leave a review on those boards. If you'd look over at asus's x99 mobos they've only have had 1 mobo get 4 stars. The rest weren't more than 3. I'd give less attention to those reviews but its still good to scroll through them.

Still, from what I've heard the biostar board kinda sucked ass...

Biostar isn't an unknown brand.  They've been around for decades.  Having said that, I do consider them a low-tier vendor and would never use one in my personal system (although I'd still consider them over a Foxconn board any day of the week).
