i bet there'll be that one person that buys the $500 ticket & go on an awesome trip with Linus , like back in the day they did the open crowd funding for the office only one person got into it & gave $500 & he even got into the WAN show for that IIRCC.

Again I don't know how the systems works worldwide, but here adult ones are valid for 10 years. Unless you're not going to leave your own country in that much time, the cost wouldn't all be for just one trip.

Eh, can't recall but somewhere around 120-150. And this was for my first Passport; they're good for 10 years, or until you run out of spaces to put stamps (my delima). Mine doesn't let me skip any security checks though.

Warning: Some airlines won't let you fly if your passport is about to expire within 6 months. (This holds true with Emirates Air anyway)

Think we have a misunderstanding here. I meant that if you're renewing a passport, you might not need to go through all the security stuff they do to make sure you are who you say you are that you do the first time.

Oh, yeah; totally misunderstanding haha. I haven't had mine for 10 years yet, so I don't know if it's faster getting it the second time or not.

Wish I could go so badly. But unfortunately not enough notice for me to get a passport most likely. Hopefully you guys plan on making this an annual thing cuz if I can't make it this time then I will definitely be there next year.

I got the Big Package about a week or two ago, but I have no idea how to access Floatplane at this point... Anyone have any idea what I need to do next? Register with Floatplane? Get email instructions? Knock on the door of the LMG headquarters and ask? (I'll do it, I'm like an hour's drive away)

I know I asked earlier in the topic but I just want to make sure, are children aged 10 and under going to be free to enter or will they need there own tickets? I only ask as I have a 9 year old step daughter and I want to bring her along with us.

I really wish I could go... Tickets are prob sold out anyways but when it was first posted I looked up flights from long island to Canada and 500 dollars... 2000 dollars in total just for the flight... I don't have that much money lol...

Hey! Sorry for not responding earlier but we were going back and forth with the venue on this. Your step daughter will need to have a ticket unfortunately.

My son lives and breaths technology and is a huge fan of Linus and team.  He is turning 13 on Friday and he wants to attend the event in July for his 13th birthday gift.  I have looked into flights from South Carolina and it will be a big gift. Given his age, do you think he will learn very much and enjoy the experience?  Thank you.

So first ever post to the forum, hello LMG, I wanted to ask if there would be any additional VIP experience tickets being sold as I was waiting to buy mine until today when I received back the error that they were all sold out. Is there any way to squeeze in another person even for a premium over the VIP experience tickets? Although I know this event isn't necessarily for the money, but I am trying for any chance. 45 hours is not that bad. I can rock out 35 hours easy.

 

On another note, I wonder out loud what will security be like, because the threat level has increased in Canada because of multiple factors.
