I just got my i7 4770 to ugrade from my i3 4170 and i have been told that the i7 4770 runs hot. Which one is better out of the 3: H7 Cryorig, BeQuiet! Pure Rock or evo 212?

I am forced to buy pure rock before cause i cant find h7 in here.

Although it perform great but i am not fan of the design.

I would buy the H7 it perform very similar while being a lil bit quieter and it has more in it like thermal paste.

And it looks good

Apparently the BeQuiet! Pure rock is quieter. The difference between the pure rock and the h7 in the uk is like 1 GBP

Go for the h7

Would it fit in an MSI H81M-E33 Motherboard with a gpu and both ram slots occupied?

Due to how close the ram is to the cpu and how close the cpu is to the fan i think i will go for the Pure Rock Slim. Is that a good choice?

According to the review by techpowerup the H7 is slightly quiter its -1Db quieter u cant tell the difference.

RPM is arbitrary and comparing coolers at the same fan speed is silly.

The Pure Rock is easily quieter from my experience.

The 3 coolers perform similarly with the H7 performing the best followed by the 212 Evo and then Pure Rock.

The Pure Rock is the quietest followed by the H7 and then the 212 Evo. For a locked cpu like the 4770, they're all more than enough for cooling and it makes sense going with the quietest option.

Yes, I'd argue the 3 coolers are overkill for the 4770. The Pure Rock Slim would be plenty for cooling and should be cheaper.

If you have the 4770 stock cooler and you're just worried about cooling, use that instead and check your temps. It's perfectly adequate in most situations and you don't need to replace it unless you don't like it.

I bought the 4770 off ebay and it came without a stock cooler. I think ill go for the slim. Will it fit for mini atx boards?

Form factor doesn't matter. It should fit into any standard/non-proprietary 1150 board.

Yes, you can see the specifications on their website. http://www.bequiet.com/en/cpucooler/688

It's a bit cheaper at AriaPC btw: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/hyQRsY/be-quiet-pure-rock-slim-351-cfm-cpu-cooler-bk008

Most places i check, like AriaPC, are out of stock or the cpu cooler will come when i dont want it to. Should i go for the full size one or an evo 212 or just wait?

If you don't like AriaPC, you could just go with your original link at CCL.

Form factor doesn't matter. If you have the correct socket, your motherboard doesn't have large components that get in the way, and your case has the clearance, a cooler will fit.

The 212x is slightly better than the 212 Evo but still not nearly as quiet as the Pure Rock or PR Slim. How fast do you need the shipping? Have you looked at shipping times for the Pure Rock? https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/cwPzK8/be-quiet-cpu-cooler-bk009
